Using VPN, our developers, working in our lab, can access our client's corporate server in a secure fashion through the Internet. The VPN establishes a dedicated private link between the remote J.D. Edwards 5 development client and the corporate deployment and enterprise servers. With a high-speed connection, the development is almost as fast as local development, regardless of the distance between the two sites. Upon completion, the Objects are packaged on a CD and sent to our client for QA (Quality Assurance). If changes are required, we can quickly look after them through VPN.
